Amy Teal 4 Liberty
We focus on local civic engagement, government transparency, and grassroots voter education in Whitney, Texas and surrounding areas. I provide public access to city and school board meetings through livestreaming and archived recordings, while actively serving in elected office to push for lower taxes, clearer processes, and greater resident involvement. My work also includes organizing advisory boards, supporting community service efforts, and helping residents understand elections, property taxes, and municipal services.
Key Services and Focus Areas
- I livestream and archive City Council and Whitney ISD meetings to improve public access to local government.
- I advocate for lower property taxes and educate residents on how to protest property valuations.
- I organize and support community advisory boards for parks, libraries, utilities, and animal welfare.
- I lead voter engagement efforts through community groups and election-focused workshops.
- I work to expand transparency by pushing for better online access to city documents and contracts.
- I support community service initiatives such as cleanups, food bank assistance, and volunteer coordination.
- I coordinate scholarships and youth civic opportunities with help from local businesses and donors.
- I network with statewide grassroots activists to oppose local tax hikes, bonds, and VATRE elections.
My value is providing hands-on civic leadership that connects residents to their local government through transparency, education, and active participation.
